About the Concord Cardio-Renal Research Institute

The Concord Cardio-Renal Research Institute is a dedicated clinical research site in the Bay Area, California, focused on cardiovascular and metabolic clinical trials. Embedded within established specialty care practices, the site provides direct access to cardio-renal-metabolic patient populations and the infrastructure required to support complex protocols. With dedicated research space and enhanced clinical capabilities, Concord is positioned to execute Phase Ib-IV studies with operational rigor and scalable enrollment performance.

Facility & Operational Capabilities

  • Approximately 2,000 square feet of dedicated clinical research space with three dedicated research exam rooms
  • Capacity to support extended (24-hour) observation visits
  • Serial pharmacokinetic (PK) sampling capability
  • Infusion services and administration of IV-based therapies
  • Dedicated laboratory area for specimen collection, processing, packing, and high-volume shipment
  • Secure investigational drug storage, including cold and ultra-cold capacity
  • On-site sterile drug preparation
  • Dedicated space for study monitors and collaboration space for sponsor representatives (SIVs, qualification visits, monitoring, audits)
  • Co-located within a multidisciplinary medical office building, with immediate access to nephrology and cardiology clinics and a higher level of care, including a surgery suite, when clinically indicated

He is medical director of Fresenius San Miguel Dialysis Unit. He bases his medical care on his public health background to establish a strong, reciprocal doctor/patient relationship.
